 Precision-machined from premium 4140 carbon steel billet, the KRC Beavertail Grip Safety is engineered to place your hand higher on the frame — keeping you closer to the bore axis for reduced muzzle flip and improved control. Designed in-house by the KRC team and machined to a .250 radius fit, it drops into standard 1911 frames with minimal fitting. The integrated hammer spur pocket allows the spur to sit sub-flush when fully cocked, eliminating hammer bite without sacrificing feel. A sculpted memory pad delivers a consistent grip reference point on every draw and ensures positive, repeatable safety disengagement.
